Water pressure test-a process that must be carried out before the hot water boiler runs

For hot water boilers, the water pressure test is a necessary process, and the safety of the boiler can be determined through the water pressure test. So, how should the water pressure test be carried out before the hot water boiler is put into operation? Let Song Gong from Zhengzhou Fangkuai Boiler Factory tell you the answer.

First of all, the water pressure test should be carried out when the ambient temperature is higher than 5℃, otherwise anti-freezing measures must be taken. The water pressure test water should be kept higher than the surrounding dew point temperature to prevent condensation on the surface of the boiler, but it should not be too high to prevent vaporization and excessive temperature stress, generally 20 to 70 ℃.

During the water pressure test, the water pressure should rise and fall slowly. When the water pressure rises to the rated outlet pressure, the pressure rise should be suspended to check for leaks or abnormal phenomena, and then the pressure should be raised to the test pressure. The welded boiler should be kept under the test pressure for 5 minutes, and then reduced to the rated outlet pressure for inspection. The pressure should remain unchanged during the inspection.

It is necessary to judge that the qualified mark of the hot water boiler after the water pressure test is: there is no water droplets and water mist on the metal wall and welding seam of the pressure component; no water droplets drop at the expansion port after the rated water pressure is reduced; water pressure test After that, there was no visible residual deformation.
