For users of steam boilers, should we choose saturated steam or superheated steam?

According to the different steam output status of the steam boiler, the steam boiler is divided into saturated steam and superheated steam. The boiler equipment selected by users under different needs is also different. If you want to choose a suitable boiler model, you must first have an understanding of these two types of boilers.

First of all, the saturated steam boiler refers to: when water is heated to boiling under a certain pressure, the water begins to vaporize and gradually becomes steam. At this time, the temperature of the steam is equal to the saturation temperature. The steam in this state is called Saturated Vapor.

Water under a certain pressure corresponds to a saturation temperature. This temperature is related to the pressure. The higher the pressure, the higher the saturation temperature; on the contrary, the lower the pressure, the lower the saturation temperature. For example, when the pressure is 0.10MPa (1atm), its saturation temperature is 99.09°C; when the pressure is 4.05MPa (40atm), its saturation temperature is 249.18°C; when the pressure is 10.13MPa (100atm), its saturation temperature is 309.53°C .

The superheated steam boiler means that if the saturated steam continues to be heated, its temperature will rise and exceed the saturation temperature under the pressure. This kind of steam exceeding the saturation temperature is called superheated steam.

Therefore, when selecting steam boilers, you may wish to have a certain understanding of the steam temperature you need, so that you can quickly and accurately screen out a steam boiler that is really suitable for you.
