"Hard water" is a type of water with a lot of calcium and magnesium plasma. If the boiler uses hard water as the inlet water for a long time, some solid deposits will be firmly attached to the heating surface of the boiler water side after a long time, which is commonly known as " Scaling". The thermal conductivity of scale is very poor, and its thermal conductivity is dozens to hundreds of times smaller than that of boiler steel plates. 1. Waste fuel and reduce output

2. Easy to cause accidents and affect safe operation
After the scale builds up on the heated surface, the heat of the metal is difficult to transfer to the pot water due to the hindrance of the scale, which causes the metal wall temperature to rise sharply. When the temperature exceeds the allowable temperature that the metal can withstand, the strength of the metal is significantly reduced. 3. Block the pipes and disrupt the water circulation
If fouling occurs in the water pipe, the cross-sectional area of the flow will be reduced, the flow resistance of the water will increase, and the normal water circulation will be disrupted. In severe cases, the pipe will be completely blocked or the pipe will burst.
4. Cause corrosion under scale and shorten boiler life
After the boiler fouls, it will cause damages such as under-scaling corrosion. Some boilers with compact or complex structures are extremely difficult to remove once the heating surface becomes fouled. In severe cases, repair measures such as digging and patching, cutting and replacing pipes can be used, which not only costs a lot, but also severely damages the heating surface. All of the above hazards will greatly shorten the service life of the boiler.
