The second step is to heat one ton of saturated hot water into saturated steam to absorb the heat energy. This part of the heat is latent heat, and the heat energy is 1000×539=539,000/kcal hour.
Adding sensible heat and latent heat is the heat energy obtained by one ton of steam (when its gauge pressure is zero) in the pot,That is: 53.9+8=619,000/kcal hour. This is what we usually call the heat energy of a ton of evaporation per hour of a steam boiler, which is equivalent to the capacity of a hot water boiler of 600,000/kcal per hour.
